Nagelköpfl is the village lift at Piesendorf: one short slope, a handful of lifts, and the place local children learn to ski. It is not a day out in itself, but it is a very easy first morning before heading to the bigger areas down the valley.

It is in Piesendorf — about 1.5 km, four minutes by car and walkable if you are not carrying much. It is the closest skiing to the chalet by a wide margin.
Three marked runs totalling about 1.7 km, between 846 m and 1,076 m, served by three lifts — two rope tows and a T-bar. Two runs are graded novice and one intermediate.
That is essentially what it is for. It is the village nursery hill where local children learn, which makes it the natural place for a first morning on skis before moving to a bigger area.
There is no rental at the lift itself. The nearest shops are in Kaprun and Zell am See, both pinned on the map above and about fifteen minutes away.
